A nonprofit focused on Asset Based Community Development in Puerto Rico. Building people back up

hunger Corp

Hunger Corp connects passionate volunteers with communities in need. They adopt communities for 5 years or more with the goal of bringing long-term rehabilitation in all aspects of life. We partner with Hunger Corp to respond to natural disasters as our island is threated by hurricanes every year and is also prone to earthquakes.

After hurricane Maria in 2017, Trinity Church began partnering with Hunger Corp to redevelop a squatter community, La Hormiga, located in Dorado, PR. Work will continue in this community and volunteer opportunities are available. Hunger Corp also helped us to respond to the devastating earthquakes of 2020 that shook the southwestern region of our island. Click here for more information.

Young Life’s mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith

Young Life

We love Young Life!  The ministry of Jerry and Christina Guerra has reached so many high schoolers!  Their mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.  It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust and consistency.

We are also supporting Chris Kern, who is opening a new Young Life chapter in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Chris, Amber, and their children are part of our beloved church. Click here for more information.
