Walt has faithfully served as a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) for more than twenty-five years. Throughout his ministry, he has served in a variety of contexts, including church revitalization, church planting, and missions. His years of pastoral experience have allowed him to walk alongside congregations in different seasons of ministry, helping them grow in faithfulness and pursue God's calling for their communities.
A significant part of Walt’s work within his Presbytery has involved serving churches that are experiencing seasons of distress or transition. He has come alongside congregations during important moments of change, offering pastoral wisdom, encouragement, and guidance as they seek stability, renewal, and a clear sense of direction for the future.
Outside of ministry, Walt enjoys spending time outdoors and values opportunities to meet and get to know new people. He appreciates reading a good book, watching an adventure movie, and enjoying a well-prepared meal. He also enjoys working with his hands, finding satisfaction in both the creativity and craftsmanship that such work provides.
