Are you interested in getting more involved? Serving is a wonderful way to meet others in our church family while actively participating in our service. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to join our various service teams and ministries! Learn about our opportunities below then complete the form at the bottom of this page. sunday service teams
We are looking for warm, friendly and hospitable people to help with our Sunday Service. Below are more details about each opportunity.
Greeting Team
Our Greeters play a vital role each week by being the first face of Trinity. They create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our church family and visitors by:
Welcoming people into the building
Provide direction to visitors and those utilizing children’s church
Distribute bulletins and assist with seating
Relay announcements and answer questions
Assist in the direction of kids to their classrooms
Commitment: Once a month: arrive at 8:30AM and and break after the doxology.
Setup/teardown Team
Do you have a desire to assist and serve the Body of Christ with our worship service? Our Usher Teams are vital components to our Sunday morning service. The ushers have the privileged responsibilities of:
Preparing the communion elements before service
Setting up the serving stations and other areas of the church before service
Cleaning up afterwards
Commitment: Once a month - arrive at 8:15AM, read Scripture and serve the elements during the service, and 15 minutes following the service for cleanup.
Worship & AV Team
Do you sing or play an instrument? If so, we’d love for you to consider joining our Worship Team, which consists of singers and instrumentalists.
We also have opportunities to assist with audio visual during the service (sound, running slides, monitoring the live-stream). If you are comfortable with technology, we are happy to train you!
Commitment: Scheduling will be determined based on availability and need.
children’s ministry
Our Children’s ministry serves newborns through 7 year old’s. If you love children and want to help train them in a foundational gospel knowledge, we would love to have you serve in our ministry. Our Children’s Ministry team:
Are familiar with the weekly lesson in order to engage the children effectively
Teach or assist in the classroom
Commitment: Twice a year for a month: arrive at 8:30AM to prepare, then 40 minutes during the duration of the sermon.
Liturgists/Scripture reading
We are looking for people to assist in the leading of the Worship Service each week, assisting in either the leading of liturgy or in the reading of Scripture.
Leading parts or all of the liturgy service
AND/OR
Reading the Scripture passage during the service
Commitment: Once a month: arrive at 8:30AM and break when the sermon starts.
Other Service Opportunities
Events
We are looking for people who love planning logistics, decorating or serving at events. Events include: Fellowship Dinners, Beach Days, Christmas Party, etc.
Public school outreach
Volunteers and church staff have formed flourishing relationships with the school administration and students of a local public school. We are constantly helping with special projects, such as, cleaning, organizing, repairs, painting and other special projects. Please let us know if you are interested in getting involved.
